Leigh Miners u18s narrowly won this afternoon with a 16-14 league victory against Pilkington Recs played in heavy conditions on a muddy Twist Lane pitch. Try scores for the u18s were Matt Jones, Aaron Reeve and Sam Shepard, Shepard kicking two goals.

Miners have only two league games remaining and with them currently sitting in third they will be looking to finish the season on a high note with two more wins before playing in the NWC Cup Final at the end of March.
