Determined to build a facility to match the quality of the team, and create an environment for everyone in the club from under-7s to first team to enjoy, Leigh Miners Rangers have ambitious plans in the pipeline to transform Twist Lane over the coming years.

As part of these plans, it is intended to transform the existing changing rooms at Twist Lane into a state-of-the-art facility incorporating a first-floor sponsors' lounge, male and female dressing room and shower provision including disabled access, and separate referee rooms. The whole project will be built on top of the existing changing rooms and the plans and designs have been kindly sponsored by Professional Witnesses Ltd whose chairman, Trevor Barton, is also president of the junior section at the Miners.
